The misdeeds done to do because one can do them,
To others discreetly...
Is a choice made one takes.
Like one who schedules an event to occur,
In one's future before it has happened.
Only to arrive at the date to find that date erased,
By someone thought to have been chased away....
By deceiving strategies layered and laid carefully.

But as facts being as they are when faced,
Devious tricks eventually lose their slickness.
And one with true abilities is discovered to be,
Profoundly cemented in consistent stability.
Overlooked but when revealed as a producer of quality,
A different level has been achieved.
Since those researching have discovered the identities,
Of the true innovators shadowed by the thieves.
