people cast aside
left in shadows
abandoned in shadows
lost in shadows
wither in shadows
fade in shadows
die in shadows
shadow absorbed
into shadow
rarely remembered
never remembered
swift forgotten
somewhere in the wind
that blows from the cold
north there is a lament
for the lost that die alone
abandoned in shadows

So deeply poignant and touching write. Bless is the wind it can provide comfort through its gentle touch on those people cast aside.
