RIC S. BASTASA

Shaking My Head... - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

on this month of
June
the mango tree fronting our office
is bearing so many
fruits

the children are happy
hitting it with
sticks and
some who have the money
use
the slingshots

i can imagine myself
being hit with
round stones

i shake my head
many time from
this glass window.
