Shaping The Surface Of Water Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Shaping The Surface Of Water

Watching water flow from a fountain, dropping in handfuls
below into a pool of waiting water, rocks - faces upturned,
always seeing rainbows of color in prisms of drops of water.

Taking their precious cargo with them into the large pool
as it drops, not silently into the water below, foamy bubbles
are scattered below, rocks of the fountain above.

Force of the water falling, causes ripples of excitement to
shape the surface of water into many designs and patterns
much like this brain does with pictures of thought.

On a constant and incessant basis all through the years,
creating, hopefully, messages for others to read through
poetry and applying them to real life.

Sharing their newly learned talents with the rest of the
world, surprising many who never thought it was possible
to touch minds, hearts, intellect and souls of others.
