Sharon Olds And Her Confessions

In verses woven, Sharon's joy does gleam,
In poetry's embrace, her soul takes flight,
Love's confessions dance within her dream,
Her words caress the depths of love's delight.

But amid the lines, shadows may take hold,
A fleeting glimpse of thoughts so dark and dire,
Yet in her heart, a reason to be bold,
To find the strength to quench despair's fire.

For in her art, she finds a saving grace,
Through ink-stained tears, her pain begins to mend,
In each confession, healing she does trace,
A testament to life, not its bleak end.

So let her verses echo far and wide,
A testament to courage, hope, and pride.
