Shattered (Broken Beyond Repair) Poem by Hannah Diane Williams

Shattered (Broken Beyond Repair)

Watching a short film
About the dangers of
Self harm

And it's ironic because
It makes me
Crave the blade
Even more.

I know it's messed up,
But maybe I'm messed up
Beyond repair.

And maybe there's
Nothing can do
To change that

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
don't worry, I'm not cutting or anything, I've just been tempted to relapse lately. But I've managed to stay strong!

I wouldn't say you're beyond repair. Rather I'd say you are the only one who can put yourself back together. This is an incredibly honest peek into what it's like to struggle with such an issue. Stay strong! And be proud of how far you've come.
