She Could Do Worse Poem by Randy McClave

She Could Do Worse

She could always do a lot worse
I could swear and also curse,
I could constantly take the lord's name in vain
And I could inflict emotional pain.
I could be lazy and not have a job
Or I could be a worthless slob,
Or maybe I could make a lot of cash
And I would always treat her like trash.
I could always put her feelings last
Or always bring up her checkered past,
Maybe I would not worry about her feelings
And not care about her sadness or dealings.
I could put everyone in front of her
Including my exe and she would call me sir,
I could constantly ignore her again and again
And I could insult her in front of other women and men.
I could continually refuse to take her down the isle
And she would still be happy and smile,
Whatever I would tell her she would believe
And I could even tell her when to pack up and leave.
I could be a drunk or a user
I could even be a cheater and an abuser,
Even if I was in a hearse
She could always do a lot worse.
