She has still miles to go
With strong desires to flow
I am sure of her future thinking
“What will you be tomorrow”? She may be blinking
She was normal child
But shy and very mild
She was obedient
And lived in her natural present
I feel so much for her plight
As she had to struggle and fight
We found for her a boy with poor back ground
Good, honest and nothing bad was found
Luck would have it
The marriage was not complete
She was to break it on second day of marriage
She had learnt enough from experience of age
What was she to do then?
“Pursue the study” she thought often
She had her way open and chose to go abroad
Leaving behind all the worries and senseless load
I had seen her blossom in our garden
It was so much to see her with excitement even
She may help her mother in most courageous way
Console her and smilingly go away
What do the parents dream of their children?
Well placed in life and seen often
Think of their childhood days
And most surprisingly baby’s act anyway
She has still miles to go With strong desires to flow
