She never said that she was sorry
For what she had done,
She never said that she was sorry
Starting from day number one.
And after all of her excuses,
In the end she was the one that abuses.
She never said that she was sorry
For all the lies that she had told,
She never said that she was sorry
As a different woman in her began to unfold.
Now when I look at the stars in the sky,
For every star she has told a lie.
She never said that she was sorry
For always blaming some other,
She never said that she was sorry
For blaming sins on her mother.
But, she also blamed others as well,
That certainty by all accused will tell.
She never said that she was sorry
For getting others to believe in her lies,
She never said that she was sorry
When she had them believing she was a prize.
And instead of herself getting defeated,
She instead lied and ran and then cheated.
She never said that she was sorry
When she deliberately broke her love's heart,
She never said that she was sorry
When from her love she happily did depart.
Then she ran into another man's arm,
Whom she said before had caused her harm.
She never said that she was sorry
For breaking every promise that she ever made,
She never said that she was sorry
When others she happily played.
To her life is just a game,
And there is always someone else to blame.
She never said that she was sorry
For all the times that she had screamed and shouted,
She never said that she was sorry
When the truth of others she always doubted.
And when others she wrongfully chastised,
She never said that she was sorry, or apologized.
