She's Confused - Poem by erine Maynard

Some people expect her to do great things,
And others wouldn’t notice her if she had wings.
This girl knows the punishment of to much pride,
So she bites her tongue also keeping it tied.
She knows where she’s going and who it will take,
Her mind is a dangerous and uncontrollable place,
You can tell all this by just the look on her face.
She received all the goodbyes she could take from him,
Even after those long lost years not one memory is dim.
Controlling dictators take what’s left of his days,
She knows they’ll be together, it’s meant to be in so many ways
She wishes to speak there story buts it’s to long to tell,
To shorten it up her memories are too horrible to dwell.
