She's Hungry For God

S-he's hungry for God,
H-ungry like a lion;
I-n search of food for the soul,
E-xerting effort and passion.
N-ow she's thirsty for God,
A-s thirsty as a deer;
G-oing for the river,
U-nending words of cheer.
T-he blessing Friday morn
O-verflows like a flood;
M-ay fifth by the break of dawn, she's hungry for God.
