She Was Created Poem by Randy McClave

She Was Created

Down upon her I would never look
As if she was below me,
She's not an opened and closed book
We both know of our own equality.
God had created her from my bone,
So, that I would never be alone.

I am strong, yes I am indeed
But, that doesn't mean that she is weaker,
To each others thoughts we both heed
And we both are still a seeker.
She wasn't created from the bone of my head,
Where she must follow, where I have led.

Yes I chose her as my mate
And as a companion and not ever as a slave,
We will walk side by side upon any gate
Our road together we will pave.
She wasn't created from the bone of my foot,
She doesn't follow, she has her own steps and input.

We are equal in the eyes of God
And how we should be seen in the eyes of man,
She is my crutch, and I am her rod
Whatever I can do, she also will and can.
She was created from the bone of my rib,
God truly created Women's lib.
