She Was No More Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

She Was No More

Rating: 5.0

“I shall be no more” appeared beautiful lines
I read the letter with nice sentence
But with enough of curiosity
As it smelt and reflected real quality

“I am your lovely friend and angel”
“Do you remember we traveled on camel”?
It took me year back of memory
She was same as I had felt always sorry

My mind hunted for past
It surfaced very fast
We both had promised glorious future
To walk hand in hand and share

She was garden flower
Almost blessed from natural shower
You can say gift from almighty, the creator
I considered it as rare honor

She departed from scene
All of sudden and was thereafter not seen
I decided to remain bachelor for life time
It was rally shock with bad time

Years after years passed and faded
I too was pushed back and not wedded
The letter brought me with great surprise
But I remembered her shining eyes

They wanted to reveal
Hide nothing or conceal
But I had stopped her from staking
Now her letter was in my hand really speaking

She was no more but had left instruction
To pass the letter with no more questions
It was her good bye with no more complaint
I felt so bad and was about to faint

cjblaze Maybe the most important thing is that You can write about it. You didn't faint after all

Dorothy A. Holmes apwlts2 Ah, this seems unfinished...yet for the poet it is finished when they decide...to faint or live with the longing, either leaves an echo only the heart can hear. Lovely verse, I say... Dorothy Singing Still..'til the end of time
