She Was Pretty Poem by Nika McGuin

She Was Pretty

Rating: 5.0

Looking back,
she was so pretty then
a young flower in full bloom
a big bright sunflower reflecting the sun
oh yes, she was pretty

Well, she is no longer pretty
but she is as beautiful
as she ever has been
the light of her soul shines
from every pore of her body

To simply be in her presence
is to be enlightened
and immensely warmed
