She Was There Poem by Satya Pratik

She Was There

Rating: 5.0

She was there.
The fog came, the villain in-between..
But it didn't make me stop gazing in her eyes.
The mist came as my competitor... taking her in possession
But it didn't make her blurry for me.
My eyes transfixed at her angelic face!
She was still there..
My thoughts tend to vanish
My exhaustion of day was over...
The excitement of seeing her took over me...
As she was still there.
The angel I dreamed of was there...
I wanted her to look at me.
Look at the face of mine which was lightened up by her mere existence.
I took my first step...
I waved
But as the villain I speak of came..
Making me invisible!
The mist wrapped her closer...
She enjoyed it...
My heart sank expectation crushed...
Still I had enough faith to go to her
As she was still there.
For the first time she looked at me with those eyes...
Which held all answer... the love which I seek was there.
I finally met my destiny!
I was there for the first time where she was...
As she was still there
