She'll Discover Poem by D.N. Rebb

She'll Discover

Rating: 4.0

Such unsuspecting innocence
While dancing on the killing floor
Chastity, a prepaid expense
Is ready to further explore

And she'll discover what's not real
In prophetic books of deceit
The tempter's yet ready to deal
Don't ask him for valid receipts

A kaleidoscope fascinates
The pun of life that freely thrives
She wants to be validated
And not just lukewarmly survive

And she'll discover barred padlocks
To inaccurate long-lost secrets
As judgement assumes the main plot
Balance remains in silhouette

Curious eyes will lead the way
With yearnings for ancestral home
Don't let the early sun betray
Only wind permits us to roam

And she'll discover nostalgia
Charming circles that bring her back
Boldly teaching her to not judge
But run before counter attacks

And she'll discover spectators
All full of rumor and gossip
Lacking any sort of manners
In this, try not to get caught up

And she'll discover desire
That reverberates honesty
As yet nothing will get by her
She smiles and says, just wait n' see

She'll discover desperation
And present a formal salute
Don't plan on miscalculation
If you are looking to dispute

Forks in the road are progress
Never too late to change your mind
She's reached the end of her process
Discovers what she set out to find
