Shelve My Fairytale. Poem by Kyle Shield Laster

Shelve My Fairytale.

Rating: 2.5

I never found that potion:
The one to wake and mend,
But I'm fine with just pretending
That I'm happy in the end.

I always knew I'd die this way:
Young and black and frail.
Now death to my dull living.
Now shelve my fairytale.
