'Shoes Of Good News' Poem by Linda Winchell

Put on the shoes of good news,
Then start your long walk towards victory,
Spreading the good word… that God is king,
And His word will live for all eternity!

Lace them up tightly now,
Don’t want Satan to grab a hold,
For he is in the world we walk,
At least that’s what I’ve been told.

Don’t worry about your colors matching,
The outfit you have on,
Just place the shoes of good news on your feet,
And go walk the world around.

So many of God’s children,
Have yet to hear about God’s grace and love,
And if a brother takes a liking to your shoes,
There are more where those come from.
