Shoulder To Shoulder Poem by Richard Jarboe

Shoulder To Shoulder

Shoulder to shoulder,
On through the haze,
Old Timers talking 'bout,
The Good ole Days.

Even the deaf hear,
The tolling of the bell,
Looking for Heaven,
While engineering Hell.

Fighting our battles,
With a billion battles to go,
In this bewilderness,
This jungle below.
