Show Me Love Poem by Paul Sebastian

Show Me Love

Rating: 5.0

If you love me, show me your love!
Don’t talk of the moon shinning above
Don’t talk of stars, twinkling for us
Don’t send me letters or flowers
If you love me, show me your love!

Under the moonlight, hear you talk
Talk, talk, all you do is talk!
You talk nothing but about yourself
Work, possessions, friends, you have!
Don’t talk of love, show me your love!

Heart burns for your piercing eyes’ search
Burning lips longing to quench its thirst
Arms aching for your embrace
Soul’s waiting her mate, to ablaze!
Enough of talk! Show me your love!

Night after night, sleepless nights
Haunting me: my mind’s plight
Restless wait for dawn’s break
Listless limbs, awaiting my date…
I’m breaking! Oh, show me your love!

Let’s melt in each other’s arms
Let’s stop time, soak in the balm
Stop the talk, listen to our hearts
Let touch speak aloud, show start!
Love, just show me your love!
If cannot, forget it all!
Not your plaything: a doll!

A very expressive writing! Really words can be just a sound, empty and tormenting without deeds. And you seem to be a man of action)
