Sickness Of Lonesomeness Poem by Dorsey Baker

Sickness Of Lonesomeness

Rating: 5.0

It disturbs your peace
Of mind
Sick to your stomach
A deep down emptiness
That overcomes you
And you've got
The sickness of loneliness

It moves with the lurkiness
Of a snake
Hiding behind four
Different walls
A closet of darkness

The clouds start to weep
The rain falls hard and heavy
You've got
The sickness of lonesomeness
