Sight Of A Deer! Poem by Dorsey Baker

She went out
into the woods hunting deer
She secured herself
in her tree stand
Suddenly she saw the deer the
deer saw her
She shot at him
and missed
He ran
She shot at him again
and she missed him again!
Soon he was out of sight
She reloaded her gun
and vowed to herself
She would not miss the next one
that comes along
She felt a huge surge of emotion
as she waited preparing
to shoot again
as another deer appeared in her sight!
