Signal Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Signal

In the busy and congested road,
The traffic signal is in full swing,
When the green signal is on,
The people are busy to cross the road,
But this does not last long,
Soon the light becomes red,
The people immediately stop.
But an insane woman does not understand it
And she goes on to cross the road,
The traffic sergeant hurriedly comes to prevent her lest an accident happens,
But the woman denies everything and indifferently crosses the road without any fear,
The sergeant is taken aback.
That's the strange aspect of life,
The insane can not behave like the sane
And the sane can not behave like the insane,
As they belong to the different worlds,
But the signals, green and red, are dead right in every moment.
