Silence - Poem by levignia jaise

Whirling thoughts intrude my head
Not sure why I'm not touching the ground
But just glad I'm flying
Through the stars, deep into the night
When you're not here, nothing seems right
No time to listen
To what's filling my mind
Try to block it out
Answers I cannot find
A suffocating feeling, weighing me down
Dancing in the rain, spinning around
Again.. no time to take anything in
Close my eyes, I can see clearer when I spin
The whole world so vibrant, moving so fast
Whirling, twirling, rushing so quickly past
Leaving me behind, watching as it moves on
Act like there's nothing wrong
The deafening silence fills my ears
All alone but allow myself no tears
Not sure how I feel
I don't understand if
This is pretend or real
Just close my eyes, whirl around
A crazy sound
