Silence And Loneliness Poem by spiritual seeker

Silence And Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

Behold!
Silence and loneliness,
like a knife,
For goodness or a fatal stab into the heart of the beholder!
It is a place of recluse and solace,
or the coldest dark prison in this world.
In this lonely wandering of mine,
I embrace these silent moments,
to reflect and discover my true self,
long lost in this busy material world,
and hopefully to understand the true wisdom of life.

Superbly written. Remembering how silence can be cruel to the one who has too much of it, really appreciating it as a true spiritual seeker. Fantastic poem 10+++++++++
