Silence Of An Interior Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Silence Of An Interior Life

Looking up, blue skies clear and beautiful like a placid
ocean surface above, an occasional cloud floating by,
giving thought to what it may represent to someone on earth.

Converging with ideas of fantasy as life is being fulfilled
in the silence of an interior life, breaking suddenly into
rhythms that jump and dance.

Frolicking and teasing this brain, lifting it above mundane
facets of life on earth, taking this poet into clouds of an
innate wisdom and knowledge.

Loving how it sounds and makes sense when nothing else does,
feeling the sensations as they take this mind and intellect
soundly into space.
