Silence Of Self Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

Silence Of Self

The clear white blue clouds,
The beauty of each day that inspires me
To live, so many beautiful things,
I can see, I can feel.

My mind whisper, whispers

My heart is longing for the silence of my mind
To talk to you, to rest me,
To give freedom to my soul.

It's time for healing; it's time to free myself.

The wisdom of my mind captivated by the spirit
Of God to view the pleasant scene
With grace and beauty with a sense
Of meaning with pure self.

The peacefulness of self-found only
In God's presence.
