Silence Sound! - Poem by Sultan Ratrout

I looked around; I heard something profound,
It was unusual sound; there was no tongue found,
There was only a rich content to astound.
There was no living creature on the ground,
There was only silence continuing to pound.

    P.S.:
.. I'd love to be astounded by that ''profound sound'' your poem describes.. unfortunately, I am both oppressed by a very bad hearing and an unbearable tinnitus.. no ''silence sound'' for my ears.. never..

Hi Sultan! I welcome you to PH with an Italian translation of you poem:

I looked around; I heard something profound,
It was unusual sound; there was no tongue found,
There was only a rich content to astound.
There was no living creature on the ground,
There was only silence continuing to pound.

Thanks for sharing and.. Keep on posting!
