Silent Lessons Of Stability Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Silent Lessons Of Stability

Walking along dusty trails through the desert, enjoying seeing
the different stances and poses of cacti that fascinate this
mind with their unique forms and picturesque beauty.

Mesquite and palo verde trees looking so fragile, yet having
an inner strength in order to survive the very hot temperatures
during the summer and freezing ones during the winter.

Silently giving lessons of stability and an intuitive strength
of character, opening minds to their exquisite sensations while standing quard with the cacti over this vast wasteland, this
desert of beauty that often tantalizes this poet's mind succinctly.
