Silent Objects Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

Silent Objects

When the time is helpless
Look at you
Murmur to you
Gaze at you
Eyes, mind and heart are with you

Everyday eye witnesses
Of this enough life
Either a victim
Or a perpetrator
You are the judge without a judgement

As it is a file closed case
In a court
I am a living being
In this structured world
