Silent Pain Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Silent Pain

Rating: 5.0

That evening
I was walking
Through the noisy street
With great enthusiasm,
All of a sudden.......
An insane vagabond appeared
In front of me,
He was absolutely silent,
His silent eyes asked me
A simple question,
I tried my best......
But couldn't answer it,
After a while
The vagabond left the place
With a smiling face,
Thereafter I came back
With a silent pain and agony
In my sublime inner self.

Sometimes a chance encounter with a stranger can leave us baffled. Metaphorically speaking, the stranger can also be a part of ourselves we hide from the world. A poem with an underlying meaning.
