In fields where whispers dance with the breeze,
Stands a sentinel of straw, unmoved with ease.
A guardian of harvest, humble and tall,
The scarecrow watches over fields, one and all.
With buttons for eyes, and a grin stitched wide,
It stands amidst the crops, with arms open wide.
A silent keeper of the farmer's domain,
In sun and storm, it remains, never wane.
Its coat adorned with tattered cloth,
A symbol of seasons, a tale to emboss.
In the golden glow of dawn's first light,
Or under moon's gaze, silent in the night.
Birds perch upon its wooden frame,
But they dare not disturb, nor play any game.
For the scarecrow's presence, though frail,
Carries a presence, a silent, stoic tale.
Through seasons of plenty, through seasons of dearth,
It stands as a symbol of the farmer's worth.
Through laughter of summer, through winter's cold claw,
The scarecrow endures, a sentinel in awe.
Oh, humble guardian of the field's domain,
Your silent watch, a timeless refrain.
In every rustle of corn, in every breeze's sigh,
You stand as a testament, beneath the open sky.
