Silently Blooming Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Silently Blooming

Watching as little children walk up to the stage and start
dancing, no shame or shyness involved, a complete innocence
and purity that automatically takes place.

No one to stop them from moving to rhythms, being free and
at liberty, keeping time no matter the tempo being played,
an exquisite sense of innate talent yet to be explored.

Silently blooming right before our eyes tonight, growing
exponentially here and now in the bowels of rhythmic
music and measures of chords in time.

A perfect, precise mathematical rhythm playing continually
into all our hearts, such a beautiful serenity lying behind
children's eyes.

A spiritual connotation belonging to God, this connection
to everyone of us here on earth, a beautiful place created
just for humanity.
