Silken Thread Poem by David Harris

Silken Thread

Rating: 5.0

The silken thread
of a spider’s web
catches the morning dew
and hangs them out
like a string of pearls
to glitter in the morning sun.
Each little dew dropp
resembles a misplaced tear
of someone in sorrows pain,
just suspended there
on a line ready to fall
for the love of someone
who has gone away.

Wow, this blows me away. Sort of a microcosm/macrocosm simulacrum..(smile)
