Simple Things Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Simple Things

Rating: 5.0

The late fall cornfields lit with sun
Their edges with green pine trees
A rousted pheasant flies
Blue skies filled with serene hope

Pond between freezing and open water
Geese stay longer like welcome family
I walk feeling the crisp fresh air
Quiet surrounds me like a choir of love

Soon the moon will bless the earth
High trees catch the lazy rays of sunset
The moment is rich with blessing
Joy is a sublime visitor

The simple things deeply bless me

Geese stay longer like welcome family
I walk feeling the crisp fresh air
Quiet surrounds me like a choir of love

Soon the moor will bless the earth
High trees catch the lazy rays of sunset
The moment is rich with blessing
Joy is a sublime visitor

The simple things deeply bless me
