Simply Human Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Simply Human

Simply human

Yes, I can kill
At will
And neutralize any move
That is aimed at me to remove

I do miss
Morning breeze
Shining stars
Even though they are far

I loved you all
And smashed wall
That was standing in between
As hurdle but was not seen

Today I feel your absence
And seek presence
If you are near by
I powerfully fly all around

You left me alone
And time had already passed or gone
I stare at roof
But search for no proof

As it is
I visit trees
Look at flowers
And praise the showers

Had it so much of energy?
And blessed by an almighty
I should have cared none
But alas! I am simply human
