Sin Shall Never Retreat

Sin shall never retreat
For it's in our very nature
And permeates us through and through
All the while we live here
We think we can control it
And live as if we can
Some men's sin are very open
While others are hidden to men

That's why we need a Saviour
To triumph over sin
And help us live victoriously
By His Spirit living within
For greater is He that is within you
Than he that is in the world
Which is a spirit of disobedience
According to the Word

How is your distance from God
Is He an up close and personal Friend
Or are you still estranged from Him
And awaiting a bitter end
Better it is to address our sin
For it's labeled you from the beginning
Repent and turn away from sin
Enjoy grace and faith's twinning

Sin shall never retreat
Only Christ can close that door
For when we abandon earth for Heaven
Sin shall be no more!
Thank You Lord for the provision of
And that by and through Your name
We can live in a Spirit of Victory
When we are born again!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
