I-t's time to sing happy new year,
S-how your joy and mirth;
A-llow your heart to beat in rhythm,
B-ecause today is your birth.
E-agerly sing happy new year, your voice is a musical sound;
L-ife has heard the melody, as harmony is truly found.

G-ladly sing happy new year,
O-n the first of January;
N-ever be mute nor silent,
Z-ealously shout with glee.
A-im to chant in verse
L-ove and faith without fear;
E-veryone knows the tone,
S-ing happy new year.
