Sing My Song Poem by jennifer jane pryce

Sing My Song

Rating: 5.0

Cover me up and let me sleep
My time has come but please don’t weep
Much later on when I am gone
Sit down with me and sing my song

To soothe my soul as I depart
To calm my spirit and your heart
Take care of things when I am gone
And don’t forget to sing that song! ! !

Place some flowers on my grave
Visit me and please be brave
Take care of things when I’m gone
And once again, please sing my song! ! !

A very moving piece of writing. Having lost my husband last year this was very appropriate. Lovely read. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
