Sing, Silently, Sing Poem by Nathan Coppedge

Sing, Silently, Sing

Rating: 4.5

To the flowers next-to the garden path

Sing, the way you once

Requisitioned the love of a telepath:

Sing beside the path, and

I’ll make a path for you

The way roses-crossed

Mean indelible love to two- -

Sing to the ring of roses

And for when the hearts are blue.

Sing to thee awhile, while I am cross and grey.

Make it for thee awhile,

While I’m away.
