Sing me a song,
To get through the day.
Then read me a poem,
And I'll readily stay.
Tell me a story,
That happliy ends,
One that I can repeat,
Among family and friends.
Tell me a jest,
So my heart can rejoice.
That will make me laugh,
Till I loose my voice.
Sing me a song,
With lyrics so sweet,
Read me a poem,
And I'll take a seat.
Singers of song,
bring food for the soul.
And really good poets,
Are better than gold.

I would like to translate this poem
A nice little ditty that has some good rhyming & flow to it. Yes singers bring food for the soul as do poets. Nicely done. Spiritsong
