Sink Pain Poem by Mazwi Sedibe

Sink Pain

Sink pain never be seen again
Sink into the deep dark waters of the oceans.
May the greedy piranhas of the oceans
Destroy you whilst drowning down.
The deep dark waters of the oceans.

Sink deep, that your stream may never be remembered.
And your source forever forgotten.
Sink deep, that history must not recall you,
And the future must not mention you.

Into the black muddy sands, sink deeper,
So that Christians, Politicians and Scientist
Should not wish to know about your ancestor
Nor your descendant.
Sink and drown cruel pain and leave me independent.

I loathe you pain.
May you be killed whilst dipping low
May the sharks and whales of the sea
Devour you, until, you we cannot see

May you sink and never ever reach the surface,
And if you ever reach the surface.
May you do so in the lost city shores.
Where you will be lost as well.

Frankly I do not want to hear or see you pain.
I do not wish to be your mate.
Go away for the god of this earth needs
A perpetrator of his horrendous dark deeds.

You know what pain?
Come let me tell you something,
I abhor you because you are a coward,
You find strength in a man's vulnerabilities.
Through honesty, for you I do not wish any good
Merely because I hate you pain brought by a lover.
