Sir Knight
Beyond the castle on the hill
a sky of strawberry gold
in the distance rode a knight
upon his trusty steed.
His shining armour glistened
as the sun beat down on him
turning skin to crimson steam
the love he carries deep within.
For his fair maiden in the tower
to rescue her, he rides for hours
to pledge his love for evermore
to gaze upon her beauty, amour.(sigh)
The knight and lady shared a gaze
lingered like a dwelling flame
surrounded now only by ash as
anguish and fear now make a dash.
For the love they share will conquer all.
