Six Months Today Poem by Bill Galvin

Six Months Today

I sat with you this day
In the pouring rain;
The skies were swollen gray,
But memory was clear and plain.
You’ve closed the shutters
Against the raging storm to gain
The gift of calm that awaits us all.

Your life was beautifully lived;
Your heart was dearly loved.
