Sky's Treasure, My Pleasure Poem by Jane Sparkes

Sky's Treasure, My Pleasure

Beautiful arc across the sky
Share your mysteries as light divides
All the hues from my dreams are there
Colours that fade when light tarnishes air

But you show so boldly now
Evoking feelings so profound
A thrill, a joy, wonder and awe
For life's blessed moments when faith is restored

Beholden not to chains of past
Heavy burdens of moments lost
Find the colours in every day
Before they're over 'n' fade to grey

Beautiful arc across the sky
My spirits soar up with you they fly
Your gift to me this day I see
This precious moment of clarity

I liked this, I can't explain exactly why, but I did. A pleasure to read.
