Sleeping Together Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Sleeping Together

Rating: 5.0

“I would love to sleep with you.”
he said
And that night
she lay in his dreaming arms
as sleep overcame them.

Morning found them
& awoke them
with the slightest touch of dawn
her dear head on my arm.
