Slow Loris Poem by Ima Ryma

Slow Loris

A slow loris primate I be
From Asia where I do roam slow,
So humans easily grab me
For human weirdness - doncha know!
Bury me under house or road
Is good luck, except for myself.
For best aphrodesiac mode,
Eat me from a bin on the shelf.
Humans use parts of me for much,
With 'super powers' I have got,
To ward off all evils and such.
Then why'd I let myself get caught?

Because of human wrongs of past,
Extinct slow loris' coming fast.
