Small Business - Poem by Dorsey Baker

His back to the wall
an old man sits
in a comfortable chair
chewing on a big cigar
looking at a newspaper
the wind starts to blow
hard and blows the newspaper
out of the old mans' hand
and it flies
far away from him
and falls into a neighbors yard
where a dog finds it and chews
it completely up!
Old men
do not chase after newspapers
or fight with dogs
over stolen property!
they just sit in comfortable chairs
chew on big cigars
and mind their own business!
