Small Speck I Am Poem by David Harris

Small Speck I Am

A breeze ruffles the water
and blows small waves to the shore
that twinkle on their crests
for seconds into the day long.
Sitting in silence by the water
on a sunny afternoon
with no one else around
feeling at peace with the world
as the day stretches on.
Feeling refreshed and relaxed
with no disturbance in sight
you gaze at nature in a different light.
One of peace and harmony
from the small speck I am.
