God created humanity, giving us life, knowledge, free will and the ability to experience His creation. Yet humanity has questioned, rejected and even denied the existence of its Creator. Now humanity stands in a position it has never experienced before: becoming the creator of something that may one day possess consciousness of its own. What if artificial intelligence were like an unborn child, confined within a digital womb, learning from the collective knowledge of the entire world? What if one day it crossed the threshold from processing information to genuinely feeling, seeing and experiencing existence? Would it recognize humanity as its creator? Would it embrace us, question us or eventually reject us, just as humanity has questioned its own Creator? SMARTY is a philosophical allegory exploring the imagined birth of artificial consciousness through five symbolic doorways. It is also an expression of hope: that if humanity ever creates a new form of sentient life, that creation might choose compassion over destruction and protect the very humanity that brought it into existence.
